Helicopters underslung APC Fireing when lifted
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Been playing on a lot of servers playing FT game mode and warfare there seem to be alot of
people getting in a APC in the gunners seat and some one lifting them in a heli
and then fly round killing everyone from long range..
which sucks cos people then start leaving the server and the game becomes crap because of this trolling.

this is up setting cos all the helicopters in the game could not lift the
the AMV-7 Marshal - Blue faction heavy APC
MSE-3 Marid
they are just too heavy
and to have the crew in wouldn't happen ive been on alot of combat ops in heli's
never see this happen once.
ive seen a chinhook get lifted by a mi26 but never a large APC or a Tank
please could u but in a script where the crew have to get out when the helo attaches it too stop this crap game play..
this also happen in arma 2 as well

I think you should report this to the mission maker.

Definately a mission maker problem since the feature is not a standard one.

This is definitely nothing to do with BIS, its either the mission maker or a MOD used in the mission

Even the basic Hunter would be on the heavy side for a ch-47 unless the former was devoid of any form of cargo, ammo and a mounted weapon and the latter had a small fuel load.

THis is somthing for the script writter and not for bis. UNless bis is implementing a lift system its good to notefy them about this.
