Helicopter Movemet: "E" is hardbound
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Even if "E" is not bound to anything in the Helicopter Movement controls it is hardbound to pitch down. You cannot assign a new function to "E". It will always keep its hardbound function.

Key E is hardbound.

Its not hardbound to pitch down... Its hard bound to "Fast forward"

Key Q also has the same issue being bound to "Increase Thrust"...which sounds like a control left over from ArmA2 because there is no way to un-map it.

yes, theres a way(around): Edit your profile-file and exchange/delete the keybind-setting for FF.

Upvoted it, because every keybind should be displayed in the settings.

Just to backup what Egosa-U says :- for a temp fix open up your NAME.Arma3Profile and search for keyHeliFastForward[]={18}; and remove the 18 from between the brackets so it looks like keyHeliFastForward[]={};

Huh, i didn't edit any configs and managed to unbind FF. Go to Planes and Fast Forward is listed in that section.

I have no idea why but that's how it is.

This is a duplicate.
