Horus Vision Reticles
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I respectfully request "Horus Vision Reticles" be implemented in ARMA3. The U.S. Marines and Army are starting to implement these. In real life I have a scope with one of these installed and can say that they are a definite improvement over current generation reticles (civilian point of view). I'd bet these will be very common on the battlefield by say....2030ish? The design is relatively simple. It's a glorified grid. With one you are able to engage targets (steel gongs and the occasional watermelon in my case) without having to use the turret adjustments. The system also allows you to adjust your aim on the fly. Assuming you see where your bullet impacted, you can effectively spot for your self. Most of you guys know what i'm trying to say. If not just ask and I'll try to explain in more detail.

In conclusion, I think it would be pretty badass.

Additional Information

*As far as I know they are exclusive to "First Focal Plane" scopes
*Both the turret adjustments and distances are in Milradians(MRADS, MILs) like most modern tactical scopes.
*There are numerous variations H58,59, and 37 being the most common I have come across.
*If anybody has any questions please feel free to ask. I know a reasonable amount about shooting and optics.
*The main web sight is http://www.horusvision.com/

NOTE: on the "Horus Reticles" tab at the very bottom there's a simulator that show you how it works.
