Ghosthawk UH-80
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I have noticed that sometimes, I would say every 1 out of 2 times I try this on my mission the Ghosthawk does not blow up when hitting the ground. I have AI setup to fire a RPG at it, sometimes it blows up and other times it just drops to the ground and looks undamaged. Although you cant get into the chopper in this state.

Please change the summary to reflect the ticket itself.

The pilot can land a helicopter even if the rotor is damaged. It was actually requested to make the second way the only way of landing. It is not clear what you want, do you want not to be able to land it or to be able to land it? I shall not vote for now.

I want the chopper to blow up when being hit point blank by a RPG and if not then atleast when it hits the ground to blow up. I dont want either of what you said.

Downvoted all the way!

Helicopters are no different from other vehicles. Just because a missile hits the vehicle doesn't mean it should blow up immediately (if at all).

Good design of a vehicle is whether or not the crew makes it out alive (or at least lives long enough to die hitting the ground, in the case of the helicopter).
