Feedbacktracker sends unnecessary and unrequested emails.

Description

In the past I kept monitored the issue 0010355:
http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=10355
Then I got several mails with notification: "The following issue has been UPDATED." But in the change log at the end, no update was recognizable.

Then I 'unmonitored' the issue but still I got and get more and more of these mysteries emails.
I think, the feedbacktracker is bucked in this issue. Please solve. {F20568}

The feedback tracker sends you emails if you wrote any notes in any issue and it cannot be undone.

I think the OP of that ticket is updating his post frequently. I get the mails too.

I'm not sure about that. If you accidentally not monitore this issue (-> 10854) and you get an email due to "A NOTE has been added to this issue.", then you're right. (Please post it here or in separate ticket, because in my opinion emails should only be sent, if you 'monitor' an issue.)

First of all I thought this, too. But then I studied the change log and watched on every 'side information' (like severity, reproducibility, resolution etc.) and nothing changed at all. I think the initiator of 10533 (-> Mariner) has nothing to do with it.

Well guys i have to bring you my apologies because i really didn't know that you recieve emails after my ticket's update. I also monitor some tickets and didn't get any mail notifications( well, maybe there were no updates about them). I just tried to keep this ticket visible pushing update button, because it makes the ticket to get on top of issues list. Otherwise how will people know about it's existence. But if it causes problems i won't use this method anymore i just want this feature implementation sooo much) Sorry once again

Nonetheless the problem with the feedbacktracker is still not solved. Like we now know: If a user pushes the update button without any update (or maybe with update) the feedbacktracker sends emails, although the issue is 'unmonitored'. Is does not send emails, if the issue is 'unmonitored' and you add a Note. (I added a Note in 0010355 after I unmonitored the issue, and as expected I didn't get an email.)

Mass closing ancient tickets with no activity for > 12 months; assume fixed or too trivial.

If this issue is still relevant in current dev build, please re-post.
