If someone uses voice activation commands software, the voice commands of your soldier in game are distracting, because they duplicate your own speech. But the commands of other squad units and your own reports about the objects spotted are important, so lowering the radio chatter volume to 0 isn't an option. So, it could be nice to have an specific speaker in the "speaker" section of your profile settings, with all voice commands muted except of specific reports.
An ability to set your own voice volume as a substitute is appropriate too I suppose.

Currently this could be reached with a mod, but a mod requires a serverkey installed on a server in order to be used in MP, and server admins usually don't like to overload their "keys" folder with bikeys. And this option does not require a lot of time to implement, so I hope it could be included to vanilla game.
