Sniper scope elevation backwards
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I have to aim the elevation in the opposite direction to hit a guy farther away using the sniper scope (ex. use the top most notches instead of the bottom most notches). I am unsure if this is the same with any other scopes/weapons or if it is just a sniper scope issue.

Steps To Reproduce

Look through the sniper scope at a target farther away, aim, shoot, and notice the bullet hits opposite where it should as far as elevation. You need to use the top notches to hit targets farther away.

Was the target closer to you than 500 m?

It would seem so. I always thought the center dot was for targets from 0 to ...m but I guess not.

You can manually zero the sniper rifles.
The default setting is 500m.
