Please use Intels c++ compiler to squeeze more performance from the code
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

  • look for Intel Parallel Studio XE 2013
  • after installation is seamlesly integrated into Visual Studio
  • Intel C++ compilers are also source and binary compatible with Microsoft Visual C++ - that quote from intels website is valid - i tested it using my local VS2010.
  • Intels compiler is much better and FASTER then the one from microsoft, so with just a little effort can produce faster code
  • discussed here and can be googled easily: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?155665-c-Compiler
