If you reload while in one of the prone stance adjust transitions you can alter your reload speeds in positive and negative ways.

- Open editor, place yourself as OPFOR > Men > Autorifleman
- Go prone and reload your Mk200
- Notice that the reload time is working as expected, reload time matches the sounds and animations played
- Press and hold the stance adjust key (Ctrl)
- While holding the above, quickly tap "A" key then "R" key
- Notice that you start to transition to the left, the reload has begun, the reload sound is playing, the animation is now reverting back to the central stance, when you get in the default stance the reload continues at the end, you finish your reload and are able to fire your weapon earlier than expected and the reload sound finishes a few seconds after your weapon has been reloaded.
Simple solution here is to prevent reloading while you're transitioning to or from any prone stance adjust.
Listed below are all the affected side effects of being able to reload during these transitions, assuming CTRL is the "Stance adjust" modifier key:
In default prone, reloading while transitioning:
- Up (CTRL - W - R) - Reload longer, reverts to central
- Down (CTRL - S - R) - Reload longer, reverts to central
- Left (CTRL - A - R) - This is the repro - Reload shorter, reverts to central
- Right (CTRL - D - R) - Reload shorter, reverts to central
In upper prone, reload while transitioning:
- Down (CTRL - S/A/D - R) - Reload longer
In lower prone, reload while transitioning:
- Up (CTRL - W/S/A/D - R) - Reload longer
In left prone, reload while transitioning:
- Right (CTRL - W/S/A/D - R) - Reload shorter
In right prone, reload while transitioning:
- Left (CTRL - W/S/A/D - R) - Reload shorter
Also of note is that when you are in any prone adjust stances, holding CTRL then initiating a reload you will revert to the central stance with all the positive or negative side effects listed above for that stance.
Event Timeline
The reload sounds and anims are still not in sync and the sounds are played and finished early, but this no longer gives the player an unfair advantage by making the reloads shorter so I'm considering this fixed.
Mass-closing resolved issues updated only last year - assuming fixed correctly.
