When fighting AI, occasionaly there is a situation where bullets hit all around you, but no one is firing - no sound, no tracers, just bullets hitting flora and ground, they don't even appear to be aiming at you, the bullets just land all over the place around you.
Once the AI soldiers in the area are all killed, it stops.
Happened (not only) in a multiplayer mission where you need to find and destroy 10 weapon caches. A lot of AI is guarding them. Once approached and the AI is alerted, the bullets start to spray around, but the AI doesn't seem to fire them.
There are no shots heard from AI, no tracers. Just the random bullet hits all around you.
This doesn't mean the AI doesn't shoot at all, when they see you they will lay a proper fire at you and I can see a normal behaviour. Once they start moving again when I hide away from their line of sight, it starts again - no sound effects, but bullets start to drop around.
Unable to reproduce.
This is most likely more of a sound issue (cannot hear the gunfire) rather than bullets appearing out of thin air.
If you think you can still reproduce the issue, please create a new ticket including a repro mission.
