Globally mapped key doesn't function inside ARMA
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I have ALT+. mapped to switch sound profiles of the Soundblaster ZXR i have installed. This hot key sequence functions in all of the other games I play.

It's function is to switch the sound profile/Filter in game without having to alt/tab out of the game.

Inside AMRA this function doesn't work..why? ARMA allows a single hot key (Ctrl for instance) assigned to Team speak to work, so is there an issues with 2 keys pressed at once that ARMA is struggling with?

Thanks in advance

This is standard Windows behaviour when applications are run with different permisions ("Run as administrator"). For example, if you run Arma3 as admin and it is in focus, it will not pass on key combos to background apps that were not run as admin.

This is not a bug with the game.
