During a test flight of the new AH-9 light I crashed into a tree, when I landed and looked out the WHOLE main rotor mast was gone down to to the swash plate. That is a bit overkill, helicopters have taken SOOO much punishment and the main hub has remained intact, removing the rotors will do just fine.
