Inventory access animation does not stop until player movement in prone

The prone accessing inventory animation does not stop playing until the player moves or uses some sort of other bind (switch weapons, vault, etc). Firing the primary weapon does not stop this animation, nor does aiming down sights, meaning that all shots fly off to the top left of the screen.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Go prone
  2. Open your inventory and then close it. Do not move your mouse or move your player.
  3. Fire the primary weapon of your character or zoom in to your scope. Note that the weapon doesn't lower back down to the firing position, and is instead angled to the top left of the screen.
Additional Information

This does NOT affect side arms (pistols). Firing after accessing the inventory in prone brings the pistol back down to the firing position.

It's also one of the coolest looking glitches.
