High pings on all servers despite good internet

Description

I have very good internet - virgin media fibre optic 60 mb/s down 30 mb/s up - yet I still get terrible pings on ALL servers even those in my country which I would expect to be getting a ping of 100 from, but I get 500-1000 across the board.

Unable to reproduce. Since there aren't any more reports of this issue, it doesn't seem to be directly related to the game.
