Realistic radio built in?
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi there, I am not sure if this has already been requested but you know that there is a mod out there called acre that simulates "realistic" radio. Now, I do know that this is not hard installing by your own, but would it not be cool to have it built into the game itself?
Maybe as a server option or something so that new players still can understand how to use voip?

Just if you dont know what acre is, then out from experience I can tell you that it adds radio noise, and that amount of noise depends on where the two clients are in relation to each other (height, distance, so on...), and even cutting completely out. At the moment one has to use teamspeak to talk to each other, but having it in game might make it possible to prevent that. Also there are several radios.

Yeah, found the search thing just minutes after posting xD.
But you know, the more the better :)

Actually, the more the worse..
It's useless to fill the issue tracker of duplicated reports saying the same thing, splitting votes and notes/comments.
