When providing Medical Aide to a patient or soldier within the field, the patient will see red in his/her view possibly incorrectly thinking their taking fire from enemy. Their immediate next response is to run away.
When being treated for a medical injury, I think medical professionals are trained to keep the patient calm and not incite panic.
I would suggest omitting the reddening of the view screen of patients or include a mix of blood splatter and a flurry of bandages, as to indicate he is being worked on by medics to prevent from instinctively running away wasting the attempted medical care.
In other words, we are coherently aware when somebody is providing medical care versus being shot at. The game within this scenario, fails at depicting this event.
