Somehow the continue savegame file generated when you suspend the game was older than my latest user save. When I resumed it used the older continue savegame file. I would think that it should look at all the savegames including the user created ones and choose the latest for resuming.

This seems to happen if all the players die within the respawn period and the mission then aborts without saving, leaving the continue savegame older than the last user savegame.
Yes this should be changed. It makes user saves pointless of you abort the mission, as it will load the next time from the 'abort' save point and not user save.
Please let us know in note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue in latest Developement build.

This could be easily resolved by allowing the user to choose which savegame file to load when resuming a coop campaign and ties into tracker number 0006186.
I see this as fixed, last time it loaded my last user savegame, when I hit RESUME.
This has the side effect of ignoring the fact that I exited the campaign two missions later without any further saves, since the camp does not allow saving, nor does it save when you click exit. Thus it loaded a very early save when pressing RESUME instead of continuing the latest unlocked mission, even without save.
Gonna create another ticket.
