Arma 3 on multiplayer: "no message received"
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi, I have been playing arma 3 for about 1 week, mostly playing on the internet, since there are very few singleplayer missions available. I have experienced almost all of the times I connect to a server at random times the message: "no message received for X seconds" also I have noticed that the yellow and red chain icons that appear on the screen stay turned on almost at all times.. I am sure its not my internet i have a 5mbit conection with a ping of around 70ms... I know the game is in alpha version but I would certainly like to experience a "lag free" multiplayer... But afterall its a great game! Keep it up BIS!

I think the servers have been crashing randomly since the last update.

Usually "no message received for x seconds" means that the server has crashed.

apparently not every time. i recently had this issue where red messages popped up saying "no package received for XX seconds" but the game was still running fine, i could hear my time mates via VOIP/VON (ingame of course not teamspeak). And after about 50 seconds of messages everything was fine without any kind of lag in between like nothing actually happened.

We need dxdiag and files from this folder for solve your problem. C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3 Alpha\

Can you upload somewhere in winrar package please?
When package will be smaller than 2,097k, so you can attach here. Thank you.
