Shadow setting problem in latest build

Changing the shadow setting during night bugs the graphics out completely to the point the whole screen goes white.

As I noticed much heavier lag in this build during night and in closer proximity to light sources I wanted to check if it had anything to do with the updated shadows, and as im on a rather old videocard atm (Nvidia GTS250) I wanted to see if turning shadows off would enhance the performance. It didn't. Still lag and a white screen with light blue streaks where light hits (I think).

Previous build I have rather good FPS day as night except near lots of trees.

Steps To Reproduce

Go to editor. Place a unit. change to 00:00 (midnight) start game. Change shadow setting to any desired level.

*Restarting the game after shadow setting changed works, but I don't think that's the idea.

We could not reproduce this bug.
