Ive now also tried uninstalling and re downloading and installing from Steam same thing again please advice asap would be nice to be involved in the Alpha after spending money on this game :)

first, using all caps in the title wont get attention, is annoying.

and if the version is "0.53.103.342" then i think your problem is related to using the ArmA 3 Alpha Dev. Version.

Dr Death apologies for caps im not very good with tech side pcs could you please let me know what i need to do to make this work thanks

p.s Dr Death i have not used the dev version just trying to launch from desktop or with steam bro

I've edited the title to be a bit less shouty and more descriptive. Could you please attach the required crash files as described in the How to guide (link in the top right of the page).

battle reaper, you may didn't knew but somehow you are using the Dev. version (wich is unstable compared to the arma 3 alpha)

the ArmA 3 alpha ver. is 0.52 and you are using 0.53, therefore, you may be using even without knowing, the Dev. Alpha

Dr Death all ive done is downloaded from steam three times and let it install then rebooted my pc and tried to play i dont have option for dev version only normal shortcut on my desktop and within steam so am bit confused

Dr Death i followed instructions to find the files in Appdata on my pc but here is the weird thing there is no Arma3 folder in there just Arma 2 and Arma2 OA folders in the local/appdata section, the game is installed fully on my c drive within the steam folder though.

I tried opening in windowed mode it popped up with ready to play and timer whilst it was patching or something then popped up with this error below again didnt even start up.

and another window application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application

Go to steam, right click on ArmA 3 alpha, go to the "beta" window.

does it says "development build"?

We need dxdiag and files from this folder for solve your problem. C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3 Alpha\
