if you take a look at the command menu, you will soon notice that it's quite full and it might be very hard to add additional actions.

But, while looking at the issues posted here there are a lot of great ideas how to extend the command menu. Like a "just do it" button, adding advanced vehicle movement (land a chopper), ...

one option would be to completely redo the command menu from scratch which might insult most arma veterans, but it might be necessary

another option would be of just adding more sub menus or using tap and hold
(tap 1 gives basic movement options, holding 1 gives more complex movement options)
