Constant Game Crashed (After 10 min of play)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hey~ I bought my copy of the alpha yesterday, and now every time I'm playing; be it editor, online, or showcases it crashes. I can usually get about 10 minutes before the crash.

After looking in my Event Viewer, I found this:

Faulting application name: arma3.exe, version: 0.5.102.571, time stamp: 0x512deb6a
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x3f3851f0
Faulting process id: 0x11b4
Faulting application start time: 0x01ce22646b342f8b
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\arma3.exe
Faulting module path: unknown
Report Id: 2da4a25e-8e58-11e2-945d-f205c176a246

There is not one of those .txt's in my appdata that you guys are asking people to upload, only mpStatistics.txt, arma3.rpt, arma3.mdmp, arma3.bidmp, and the folder MPMissionsCache.

So far this has occurred about 20 times.

I figured this out!

As I read in the readme, the PPAA was by default off. After looking through my settings that was not the case. Since my gpu is an AMD (HD 7800) this was causing it to crash.

If you have an AMD make sure to disable those! I attached a picture showing which option.

Thank you for info.
