My game crashes everytime i open someones backpack,try to access my inventory and trying to get into video settings. these are the only things that seem to trigger it so far, but seeing as i cant equip any weapons its hard to see any other problems a this stage, in addition i am using windows 8 if that has any effect, any ideas as to what i should do, ive tried looking around for fixes but i cant see any

please state TYPE and NAME of the MISSION/MOD you are playing, how many players were playing at the time etc. Try to provide as much info as possible.
If the crash is happening when playing custom MAP/MOD,try to reproduce the crash also on our official Arma III missions.

Sorry it doesn't seem to save my crash dumps for some reason.
im playing on standard game, in wasteland, with no more than 20 players and a under 100 ping. in addition to this when i change to opt into a development build it doesn't seem to crash,however i will check this tonight to see if this is still happening. the game crashes when i click gear, settings and when i try to loot anything.
