I noticed that during combat AI will never enter buildings on their own. More than that, when in the editor I place them inside buildings they just seem to be immediately looking for a way out instead of taking cover in the building. The building destruction is glorious in ARMA 3, and infantry in buildings just gives another good excuse to enjoy it :D
