Hi everyone,
In order to get correct performance the object draw distance must be reasonable for the most of people (no more than 2km I believe), but it can get problematic when looking through a scope or a long range optics (eg. for recon).
That's why I suggest a feature that allow players to have a larger obj. distance view through scope (without getting perf loss because the objects would be displayed only around the observed zone).
What do you think ?

This would solve the problem, that snipers virtually have xray-vision because grass layers and bushes aren't displayed the same way at high distances.
Question is how hard is this to implement?
I hope this can be done. The no grass though scope thing is particularly troublesome in my view.
A possible solution would be to draw clutter and other objects according to their screen area, not the distance to the viewer. That way, when zooming in, objects would cover a larger screen area and thus would still be drawn
This suggestion was processed by our team and will be looked into. We thank you for your feedback.
The new method of hiding people by sinking them into the ground is terrible. I once saw someone, he was around 600 m from, he was completely under the ground and only the top of his head is sticking out.
