Can't change difficulty setting in game.

Description

If you go into "options -> game -> difficulty"
and let's say you currently play regular but want to play recruit.
You click recruit. Then you think it's cool to disable the crosshair and you do so. You click ok and return to the main screen. If you now run any mission or something or click on "options -> game -> difficulty" again. everything will be reset!

Additional Information

I tried Admin mode. Nothing changed!
You can change your settings by going into your "documents -> arma3alpha" and edit your "username.arma3alphaprofile" file.
