As has probably been noted by many other players of the alpha, weapon recoil seems to be rather exaggerated. From Arma 2 to Arma 3, there is a significant gap in the level of recoil given by each of the weapons. Now, I understand that I am working based on the experience of firing 5.56mm weapons in Arma 2 versus weapons chambered for 6.5x39mm cartridges in Arma 3, but I really don't think recoil would be so much greater, especially since the firing systems have various weights etc., so recoil would very likely be about the same as a 5.56mm NATO weapon. While I greatly enjoy the game as I have seen so far, and think it is a massive improvement over Arma 2, I really think that having such high recoil will be a large handicap to gameplay in the future.
On a related note, I believe allowing the player (and AI alike) to rest his weapon on a wall or window sill to steady firing will add a significant and enjoyable element to the game's combat. This would certainly include use of bipods on weapons, such as the MX SW.
