Video demonstrates the problem, along with steps to reproduce. The bug consists of the AI controlled squad members getting stuck in the prone animation while performing other actions, resulting in the awesome belly slide.

Steps To Reproduce

Steps to replicate:
Start a game with a squad of playable units.
As the leader, go prone.
Wait for squad members to go prone.
Change to one of the prone squad members.
Change back to the leader.
The squad member will be stuck in prone, and will belly slide instead of walking.
