On several occasions piloting and riding along, I have noticed heavy crashes that aren't fatal to the vehicle turn the tips of the rotors yellow. Also the crashes are pretty severe ones that probably should destroy the chopper. i.e. flying through a radio mast or nosediving into the sea only to bounce out with only yellow damage to some vehicle systems
