AI "SAFE" Behaviour Problems
Closed, ResolvedPublic

  1. When starting a mission, even when a unit is initialized to start in the "SAFE" behaviour, they do not always start out this way, and will often start in "AWARE", despite there not being any enemies around. (This is particularly obvious when doing this with the player, as you will start with your weapon raised.)
  1. Sometimes, when asking a group to move to a way-point under the "SAFE" behaviour, they will ALWAYS walk and not run, despite the speed being set to "Normal" or "Full". And as mentioned above, sometimes they won't go into "SAFE" at all.

Steps To Reproduce
  • Put down a soldier in the editor.
  • Set init line to this setBehaviour "SAFE"
  • Preview the mission, there is a possibility that the player will have their weapon raised. If not, try adding another unit to the player's group.
  • Put down an infantry group
  • Make a "MOVE" way-point with the behaviour set to "SAFE"
  • Preview the map, there is a possibility they will walk to their location instead of jogging, or sprinting, no matter what you set the "Speed" as.
