Would like to see a dynamic HUD with elements staying invisible until relevant information is changed. For instance, the round count indicator would disappear until shots are fired or a new weapon is selected.
This could ideally be linked to difficulty. On Recruit, all HUD elements are as they are now--always visible. On Regular, HUD elements are usually off screen, with rounds remaining showing up when rounds are fired. On Veteran, rounds remaining only shows when switching weapons or reloading, and on Elite, all HUD elements are gone except fire mode (when switched), action menu, and the group icons are reduced in size and only display when giving or receiving commands.
This would add another level of difficulty and immersion, and I feel like it's something many people would appreciate.
