No footstep sounds when walking on certain objects.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

There are certain objects that you can walk on top of that will not play a sound for footsteps. These include, in building stair cases, rocks, and building rubble. It mainly includes objects that can be walked on that isn't part of the actual terrain. I do not know how to best word but, have multiple cases to reproduce my points that I'm trying to make clear.

option #1

Go to the town of Agia Marina in Stratis and find the drainage ditch that splits the town in half. At this drainage ditch, if you run along the concrete walls that make the ditch, there is no footstep sounds played.

Option #2

Find a decent sized boulder and walk on top of it and no footstep sounds can be heard.

Option #3

Destroy a building or structure down to rubble and walk on top of the actual rubble object that takes it place.

Additional Information

Stairs, rocks, destroyed building rubble, and the drainage ditch are the things that I noticed the most.

This problem also occurs in the air traffic control tower at Stratis Airfield. If you enter the structure no footstep sounds will be played as you run around inside of it.

Guessing that they'll add the sounds later, however I've had the same issue while walking on bolder.

I had this issue as well, notably on the steel, diamond plate walkways of the dome at M-26
