Constant crashes
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The game consistantly crashes whenever a multiplayer game has been loaded. Whenever trying to access an ingame menu, or anything. Sometimes even just loading into the multi-player menu would crash the game, sometimes it crashed on startup.

Additional Information

In addition to the crashes, menus cannot be accessed, controls that work one session will not work the second time. Trying to access the options for a vehicle/body search do not always appear. Sometimes the player menu is the only option available, no matter where I was looking on the vehicle/body. Some games there are no issues, I have played before for a few hours, no crashes, friends experianced the same thing, no problems, then the next day, 6 crashes in just as many minutes, and the new menu bugs.

The mission/mod never seem to matter. The game launches from steam. Crash. A wasteland 404 1.3 starts, crash. Coop starts, crashed. Wasteland mission moves smooth for 5 minutes or so, lags up, then crashes. I went into the showcase. Infantry was fine for a few minutes, then suddenly it crashed. It did not seem to matter what game mode/mission I was in yesterday, for it to constantly crash. Whereas the day before, there were no issues at all.

Please provide Dxdiag.txt.
Is you HW overclocked?
Are you running latest sound and GPU drivers?
Are you running Xfire or Zone Alarm?
