co Pilots are not able to take control of the aircraft. A solution would be to be able to switch controls form the pilot / co-pilot via action menu. otherwise there is no sense in having a co-pilot.

Switching controls worked for my friends and me so far. The pilot has to unlock the controls, and the copilot has to accept it. Then he gains control over the helicopter. Worked pretty well for me.

It is possible but the co-pilot aircraft lead to the aircraft commander to release the controls.
