Game performance increases if parameters are used but the game still keeps crashing
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I've got a quadcore cpu [Intel Core i7-960] but using my ressourcemanager from windows tells me arma3 is just using one cpu. I changed that with the startparameter I know from Arma2. It is the following: "-cpucount=4". The game is much more playable after that. So I guess the automatic cpu detection may be some kind of buggy. But even I change that the game keeps randomly crashing. I created an rar archive with all the files you need including dxdiag.txt

Additional Information

I want to ask if there is any parameter for forcing Arma3 to use DX10 only and not DX11 even though the videocard is capable of DX11? I'm asking because the "-winxp" mode in Arma2 gave so much more performance it may be a good way to use DX10 for people with no high end video card and therefore safe some perfomance.

Although after setting cpucount to 4 the game still doesn't use much of the cpu cores. Sometimes only 8 % average cpu workload is noticed by windows.

We appreciate your feedback, however we require additional information about your issue. Can you describe some specific moment when game crashed? The best thing would be if you could write reproduction steps for it. Thank you.
