Why don't you use the Steam-Screenshot-button?

I have this issue, and because I disabled steam in-game overlay I can't use the steam screenshot feature (which I do use a lot for other games). I have only disabled the in-game overlay due to it apparently causing crashes for some people.
Is there a built in screenshot feature at all?

Please let us know in note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue in latest Developement build.

I can confirm this is still in the latest dev build Version: 0.61.106195 via the F12 screenshot key, and with print screen.

There are workarounds for windows 7 that involve running the game as administrator and disabling desktop composition, but these methods should not need to be resorted to, and expose security holes.

If F12 wrote the captured image to a folder in the users documents, then alt tabbing is no longer required to paste the clipboard contents into another application.

Screenshots in games don't work in Windows 7. Only in extreme rare cases.

I've heard it has something with rendering and whatnot to do... the Aero settings probably.

A proper "screenshot" command that creates an image automatically would be great as there's no other way to take screenshots in Windows 7 without using third party software.

Third party software includes the "Steam screenshot button" (never used it personally) or the almighty FRAPS:
http://www.fraps.com/

If in doubt, just go with FRAPS.

Not sure you need this but here ya go..
I had this issue with the latest DEV build..
So an thing to fix it without FRAPS is going to configure and set the display mode to "fullscreen window". Now when you will press Prt Scrn - Sys Rq (Print Screen button), you will get the image to youre clipbord. At least it worked for me. :-)

Mass closing ancient tickets with no activity this year; assume fixed or too trivial etc.

If this issue is still relevant in current dev build, please create a new ticket referencing this one and request for it to be re-opened.
