Cannot reassign XBox Controller Buttons

Description

Enabled the XBox controller, not happy with default scheme and wanted to assign different controller buttons/sticks to different functions. The User-Interface doesn't pick up anything when I move/press different controller actions, and they do not appear in the right-hand list to drag over and assign.
