Yes i have read through many of these reports and it seems to happpen to windows 8 only, because all the windows 7 and vista people have not encountered this problem

I'm having the same problem, but I don't think its an Arma3 <> Windows 8 problem; I think it's a Stream <> Windows 8 problem. They should reconsider making this a stream only game once its release in full.
