Character starts doesn't stop walking, and keeps changing weapons.

Description

Sometimes when I have been walking for quite some time I have this problem. I want to stop but my character keeps walking. After pressing the WASD keys to try to stop he starts switching weapons over and over again. Then suddenly it stops, and I have regained control over my character.

I have experienced this issue twice as well. My character keeps walking and will not stop. I do not get weapon cycling as reported here; in fact changing a weapon is what stops the character from walking and returns to normal behaviour.
