Upon testing the swimming feature, I got my Marksman (in editor) to dive off a boat and swim to the coastline floor.

This journey took no less than five minutes, and only after I started my ascent again, did the heartbeat begin and vision fade.

I did, however, manage to surface in time before I asphyxiated.
