Tried to shoot out the street lights in the coop 7 mission, heard the glass breaking but the light stayed on.

Probably the same things as ArmA 2, you need to hit the center of the lights to destroy them.

Possibly but there was a distinct glass shattering sound and it was attempted at long range and later close range. Also tried with the assault rifle and the pistol.

Sounds similar to the hit box problem that's been around since A2, or it could be something new altogether.
