Hello,
Please check the following:
- First off uninstall ALL versions of Visual C++ Redists (Control Panel-Programs and Features)
- Reboot PC (MUST BE DONE)
- open an elevated command prompt and run the following:
SFC /Scannow
Let it finish note if it says it found any corruption or not. (let us know if it did)
- Next check for Windows updates and ensure latest build of your OS is installed.
- Now reinstall the C++ redists (these can be found either on microsoft website or in your local steam folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist))
- Reboot your PC again
- Check for Windows updates (install if required)
- Reboot if needed
- Try open the game!
Note: Ensure you install both the x64 and x86 versions of the redists.
