Specifically, character actions such as door opening, item acquisition, and inventory management become impossible, though basic movement (running, crouching, jumping) remains functional. Furthermore, while distant infected appear mobile, they become unresponsive upon engagement, concurrently with a decrease in both health and blood levels.
