Description of Issue:
Every attempt to join any Livonia-mapped server (official or community) on PS5 results in failure to connect, always ending with error code 0x00040031 (webcamstatelogin bug). The issue occurs 100% of the time and is immediately repeatable. The server browser screen dims as if the countdown is about to start, but hangs for up to 15 minutes before the error appears. During this time, the server list remains visible and selectable, but no buttons function.

This does not occur on other maps; only Livonia servers are affected.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Adjusted MTU settings
  • Switched between wired and wireless connections
  • Reset router and modem
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled DayZ
  • Cleared PS5 cache
  • Rebuilt PS5 database
  • Factory reset PS5
  • Had server owner wipe the server, ban and unban my account
  • Tested multiple unmodded/vanilla servers with no broken items

None of these steps resolved the issue.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch DayZ on PS5 (version 1.27)
  2. Navigate to the server browser
  3. Select any Livonia-mapped server (official or community)
  4. Click "Join"
  5. Observe: Screen dims, hangs for up to 15 minutes, then displays error 0x00040031. Server browser remains partially functional but cannot join any Livonia server.
Additional Information

Notes:

  • Issue is persistent and occurs every time on Livonia servers only.
  • All servers tested are hosted by Nitrado and are unmodded/vanilla.
  • Other maps are unaffected; only Livonia is impacted.
  • Multiple extensive troubleshooting steps have been attempted with no success.

Same issue for me using Chernarus PS5. Did the same troubleshooting. When joining a community server the screen will be a black background with the menu still visible, as if it tried to join server. On an official server I may play for a few minutes, but then I can’t interact with anything as in opening doors or taking items and start to ‘rubber band’ everywhere
