Hello,

I am encountering a critical issue with DayZ for some time now. Every time I attempt to launch the game, it displays a black screen, then completely freezes. Windows then shows an error of type STATUS_APPLICATION_HANG, and I have to force the program to close.

This bug persists even after:

A full reset of Windows 11

A clean reinstallation of the game

Deleting all residual files (Documents, AppData, etc.)

Fully removing GPU drivers with DDU

A clean installation of the latest NVIDIA Game Ready drivers

Testing without mods or special launch options

Creating a new local Windows account

Testing from another hard drive

Launching directly from the game's .exe file

The game freezes every time on a black screen before even displaying the menu. Other games like Dying Light 2 run perfectly on my system.

System Configuration:

CPU: Intel Core i7-10700

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060

RAM: 16 GB

OS: Windows 11 64-bit (freshly reinstalled)

Storage: SSD
