Some key information is missing from the 3D paper map on Sakhal such as the locations of the water springs and some small town names. These water springs can be found on the 2D map but cannot be seen on the 3D version.

Hello, I should of used an image to show what I meant but this is what I mean.
You cannot see the wiggly lines repesenting a well/water spring where it can be seen on the 2D map. See the red circles on the 2D map underneath, I think it would be beneficial to have these show on the 3D map.
The small town issue was a mistake on my side, I thought a very tiny town wasn't showing correctly on the map but it was just a section without any buildings there.

I personally like the 3D map, and it's a shame it's not used on Official.
but a second variant that is more than the realistic tourist map that indicates these crucial POIs players need was the biggest complaint I've seen on servers with 3D maps when Sakhal released.
Not to sidetrack the ticket... But I've always wanted annotated maps that could be found.
DayZ runs on no lore is best... but something that adds some in game story would be cool.
