The updated balaclava model in version 1.27, which is now likely based on the three-hole balaclava model, looks unrealistic and has little in common with real-life versions of such masks. The previous version of this mask (version 1.26 and earlier) was perfect and does not need any revisions. I suggest reverting to the old model before releasing the update.
