Despite the fact that patch 1.27 is aimed at "fixes", it turned out to have more features than fixes. Everything that the developer touched in the new patch broke. One of these problems was the longer loading of the client. It increased twofold. It is unknown why.
Another Proplems in 1.27:
- Broken thirst and hunger indicators. Being in red and empty values, the player's HP may not decrease. He will, attention, restore health while hungry and dehydrated.
- Broken animation of getting any weapon from the shoulders. If earlier he threw up, for example, M4A1 or an axe in 3-4 seconds, now it will take LESS THAN 0.5 SECOND, and this happens without sound.
- Broken reload sounds for some weapons. For example, the Walther P1 pistol plays the sound of the M79 grenade launcher when changing the magazine and fixing it in the magazine chamber.
- Even more broken animations when quickly changing poses.
- Broken navigation mesh for infected. Noticed only on Sakhalin, with the exception of the new mapping in Baikovo and possibly in the new houses in the village of Aniva. Either the NavMesh is broken, or the infected perceive open doors as closed.
- Broken inventory. In the "nearby" tab, a gap now appears between objects and their components. Sometimes the text in the same tab is buggy, and it appears in places where it should not be. Also, sometimes when hovering over an object, a preview of the previous object captured by the cursor appears. Well, and the idea itself just seems inconvenient: previously it was convenient to see EVERYTHING that lies on the ground, and not just two lines of things. In addition, the inventory of clothes / equipment that hangs on the character and is displayed above all other inventories may now disappear.
- Boats are broken. When a boat approaches the player, the player's client freezes for 2-4 seconds. Perhaps there are problems with LODs and server information about boats. However, everything is fine with ground transport.
- The client crashes much more often. This happens on different systems with both NVidia and AMD video cards. Problems have been noticed even on an OS with 32 GB of RAM. Restarting does not help, it appears randomly. It takes 5-6 crashes for it to stop. Minimum client settings do not help. Errors in Crash Reporter report incorrect memory reading (possibly even a memory leak).
- Problems with the launcher. When interacting with it and closing it, there is a high probability that it will give a new error, oddly enough, also related to memory. Most likely, the launcher is compiled incorrectly this time or there is a critical error somewhere in the code.
- Added thermometers are a static object. Even if you set the month of August on the server, the temperature on the external thermometers is not displayed.
- The developer did not fix the echo delay from weapon shots. Now it still appears after ~5 seconds even after a small clamp from the automatics.
- Broken sight grids, for example, on the PSO-1-1. By the way, the developer did not touch the sights in this patch.
- No particle fixes for vehicles.
- Incorrect temperature bonus indication. Previously, the number of pluses varied as follows: 1 - "from 0.1 to 1.0", 2 - "from 1.1 to 2.0" and 3 "from 2.1 to 3.0", which was more natural and understandable. Now the first plus holds up to 1.7, and the second from 1.8 to 2.5. It is almost impossible to get a third plus in the realities of survival on Sakhalin.
- Many fixes that did not fix anything. For example, the fix for quick assignment to the number keys in the HotBar still sometimes remembers the previous selected item / fix for the Chernarus map, where part of the northwestern airfield was cut off (still visible at maximum zoom).
- The adjustable wrench and factory fishing rod (at least, haven't tested yet) can't be hung on the shoulder slots. Also, not all knives and small tools fit into the new backpack slots, for example, 4-slot knives (except for the machete) and the sickle.
- When spending stamina in water, the player still continues to swim by shifting.
The developer promised to fix the server desynchronization when shooting heavily through dense vegetation. He promised this even before the patch was released for exp. And what do you think? This did not happen.
How is it that your patch, aimed at fixes, does not deliver these fixes and breaks the game even more?
