Noticed in 1.27 experimental, there has been tweaks to melee that haven't been announced. I was wondering if this was an intentional change.

Melee change before 1.27 experimental = Light jab, then hold shift while pressing left click. They must be done together in a quick fashion. You'll know that you've done it because your initial JAB will count as a heavy attack
After 1.27 = this is no longer the case.
( This was left in the game for a large number of years for it only to be changed now? Players shouldn't be punished for taking advantage of something that the developers ( YOU ) left in the game )
With the melee part of DayZ already being incredibly unstable and janky, I truly hope you guys have something to replace this.

Event Timeline
This "defect" has created a cult following in the game. Some of us just play to fight with hands, and while that is not the original intent of the game, it's the main reason while I still boot it up.
It's not a defect that creates an unfair advantage or breaks the dynamics of the game. There's been some really fun nights and battles because of this functionality.
