Changes to barbed wire are greatly appreciated with some minor annoyances attached. The first is there seems to be a performance difference between barbed wire that is built as a single composition, versus barbed wire as a part of a composition. I can walk through a single barbed wire pretty easily and quickly with maybe a bleed and some noise. But if it's part of a composition it slows the player down substantially more and the damage seems higher. Bleeds both light and heavy, breaks and even getting knocked uncon if remaining in it too long (and it doesn't take long). Which feels excessive and is annoying to try to move around especially at night. This is where i think you'll find most of the feedback and player frustration.
Overall it does feel a lot easier to place wire where you want it, and it finally stays around after building it. All welcome changes.
As an area denial and alert utility it's nice to know we can use it more effectively, even if it still needs some work.


It's nice being able to block off entrances like this.
